The Chicago Neighborhoods Map will help you get started. UIC’s East Campus is located in Little Italy.
- Pilsen: lots of really good Mexican restaurants and ethnic/artsy/bohemian neighborhood
- West Loop: meat packing district, mostly warehouses and loft apartmnts
- Wicker Park and Bucktown: hipsters
- Lakeview: trendy scene, and baseball fans
- Logan Square: right off the Blue Line, easy to get to campus
- Roscoe Village: quieter area, but close to the action in nearby Wicker Park
- Ukranian Village: Polish, German, Ukranian immigrant history, vintage buildings
