Probability, Statistics, and Data Science

Probability, Statistics, and Data Science is a broad field in developing novel probabilistic models, designing statistical methodologies, and applying cutting-edge data science techniques to solve real-world problems.  The research group in MSCS has particular interests in Probability Theory and Stochastic Analysis, Functional Data Analysis, Non- and Semi-Parametric Methods, Bioinformatics, High Dimensional Statistical Inference, Optimal Designs, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analysis.
