Meetings are an important part of any young mathematical scientist’s professional development. Listening to talks, meeting active researchers, connecting with old friends, learning about professional issues and resources, and making new professional connections are building blocks of the early career. AMS Graduate Student Travel Grants provide partial support for the Joint Mathematics Meetings and AMS Sectional Meetings.
