About Me
I am an assistant professor in the Learning Sciences Research Institute and the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. My research interests lie at the intersection of mathematics education and education policy and leadership, focusing on the policy and organizational contexts in which individuals (learn to) teach mathematics. Currently, my research focuses on how policies across the school, district, and state levels can be designed to support mathematics instructional improvement. A second strand of my scholarship involves researching and designing for coherence in mathematics teacher education programs. My work has appeared in various outlets, including the Journal of the Learning Sciences, AERA Open, Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education, Educational Studies in Mathematics, and Teachers College Record.
