Vali Siadat Receives AMS Impact Award
MSCS alumni Vali Siadat has been awarded the 2019 Award for Impact on the Teaching and Learning of Mathematics from the American Mathematical Society.
Siadat received his Ph.D. (1990) and Doctor of Arts (1997) from UIC.
He led the Project Access/Chicago Prep program, an integral part of a NASA national mathematics project targeting promising low-income and minority students.
