MSCS welcomes three new Tenure Track Assistant Professors

The department is happy to welcome three new Tenure Track Assistant Professors to join our faculty this Fall.

Gabriel Conant, PhD University of Illinois at Chicago, works in Model Theory and interactions with group theory, dynamics, and additive/multiplicative combinatorics. Gabriel has previously held postdoctoral positions at University of Notre Dame and University of Cambridge, and was an assistant professorship at Ohio State.

Philip Engel, PhD Columbia University, works in in algebraic geometry and Hodge theory, especially degenerations of surfaces. Philip was previously a Bonn Junior Fellow at the University of Bonn an assistant professor at University of Georgia, and a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard.

Caroline Terry, PhD University of Illinois at Chicago, works in Model Theory and Combinatorics. Caroline has previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Maryland and the University of Chicago, was an assistant professor at Ohio State, and has been awarded both the Sloan Fellowship and NSF CAREER grant.
