MSCS welcomes three new Lecturers

The department is delighted to welcome three Lecturers who have joined our faculty this Fall.

Duha Hamed joins us from Winthrop University having completed a doctorate at Ph.D. chapter at Central Michigan University. In addition to her teaching, Duha researches the study of generalized statistical distributions.

Peter McDonald joins us from the University of Utah where he completed a PhD in commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.

Gregory Taylor will start this year as a lecturer, having taught with us last year as a Visiting Lecturer. Gregory completed a PhD at our own department in commutative algebra.

In addition Sam Dodds, PhD UIC in Ergodic Theory, has joined as a Visiting Lecturer for the academic year.
