How to join the STEM DEI Events Mailing List
We would like to invite you to join the UIC stem-dei-events mailing list. This mailing list is meant to support the community of people in the intersection between STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and DEI (Diversity, equity and inclusion) by providing an easy way to share information about events related to STEM and DEI, such as lectures, panel discussions, community building, professional development, and more.
You join the list by sending an email with a subscription request in the message body. The following link will open a new message that will subscribe you to the list when you send it (if supported by your mail client and operating system):
If the above does not work, you can instead join the mailing list by performing the following steps:
- Compose an email to listserv@uic.edu
- Leave the subject line blank
- The body of the message should be a single line containing the text
Subscribe stem-dei-events
If you want to the mailing list to associate a name with your email address you may also include your first and last name as follows:
Subscribe stem-dei-events FIRSTNAME LASTNAME
replacing FIRSTNAME LASTNAME with your name.
You should get a reply asking you to confirm your request to subscribe which contains instructions for unsubscribing in case you've changed your mind about being on the list.
