Miltner receives Silver Circle award
MSCS Clinical Assistant Professor Dan Miltner, who passed away suddenly in March,
is a recipient of the 2014 UIC Silver Circle award.
The UIC Silver Circle Teaching Excellence Award has been given each year since 1966 to honor UIC faculty members chosen by the senior class for their outstanding teaching ability.
"Dan was an exceptional teacher, relentlessly trying to provide the best learning opportunities possible for his students," says Alison Castro Superfine, Director of the Office of Mathematics Education.
