DESCRIPTION:Joel Stapleton (University of Illinois at Chicago): Weibel's conjecture for some twistings of algebraic $K$-theory This defense is based on the author's publication in the Annals of $K$-theory, Volume 5. We prove vanishing below $-d$ for algebraic $K$-theory with coefficients in a smooth proper connective $\mathbb{E}_1$-ring spectrum over a commutative ring of Krull dimension $d$.
